So I have been out of the service for about 12 years and have moved several times since then. I still have my DD214 and various award documents and would like to have a shadow box made with my medals and ribbons, anyone know of a good place that makes these and also where I can get replacement ribbons and medals?? Before I retired I was using UltraThin. Much thinner and lighter (plus they did not acquire the "roll" of traditional build-it-from-clothing-sales-store ribbon racks). Not cheap, but the ones I received were of excellent quality. My shadow box has one of theirs in it. Looks like you can get medals there as well. http://www.ultrathin.com/ Haven't checked myself, but there are probably other companies providing the same or similar services. |
