A childhood friend recently passed....Captain in the Marines.
I don't know what happened, and the only thing my friends have is a local obituary which has no details. I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I'm trying to find more, is there a place online I can see if he was actively deployed? Mods please delete if this is the incorrect place to ask, but I didn't want to go to GD with this. |

Are you trying to find out if he was killed in action or not? If he was, it will probably come up on this site eventually. They are usually pretty quick to update with new casualties, usually very soon after NOK is identified.
