Looking back I'm kind of lucky; I never sent in a copy of my DD214.
On the other hand I've posted MANY pictures of things going on around me. Some of the pictures could Never have been taken unless you were on a Military Reservation. Like this one. Photographed at Vilseck, Germany, part of the Grafenwoehr Training Establishment in 1979:
