This has happened to me 5 or 6 times now, since 1969.  And I was wondering if anyone else has experienced it?
Saturday was cloudy, foggy, and rain.  My left leg had been bothering me but we all live with some pain so I just figured I slipped on the ice or some how extended it.  By Sunday morning I couldn't move, without extreme pain.  I could feel every puncture wound in my body. (my lower extremities were blasted by a booby trap) This happens so infrequent I can't remember what was going on weather wise or body wise the last time.  But I was wondering if anyone else gets so overwhelmed by pain that they can't function due to dampness or other stimulants?  Thanks.

I feel your pain.

I've experienced something similar, but not to the extent that you describe.

'69 seems to have been a bad year for both of us.  For some reason, I seem to experience "discomfort" on or about the anniversary
of my "unpleasant" encounter.  I didn't make the correlation until it had happened a couple times.

Other severe injuries that I've suffered still cause problems.

Arthritis is taking it's toll, but primarily in joints that have been abused over the years, or are adjacent to bones that have been broken.
Damp and cold do seem to intensify the pain, stiffness and lack of mobility.  The only med that ever worked for me was taken off the market years ago;
happily, Bourbon is still available.

And, last but not least, face it Brother, we're gettin' old!

Hang in there!

You are not alone. I have numerous ailments attributed to my service. The arthritis and fibromyalgia gets the better of me during the winter and also when ever there is a big change in barometric pressure.

I forgot about anniversary dates.  Thanks.  I was thinking weather.
