Huh, not to far from me. Read some of the blog entries under the story if you want to get upset. Some of  the people are actually saying the that Officer deserved to get shot due to past dealing they have had with him. I dont know the Officer but Rockwood and Carleton are pretty small. I Have had occasions to work with them on cases (for some reason people like to come from there to our town and get in trouble, LOL) and seemed like everyone I worked with was GTG.

At any rate get well soon Brother and don't listen to the assholes of the world.

I'm pretty sure I know that officer, I haven't worked with him in a while, but he seemed pretty standup.

Those comments are asinine, and all from one retarded crack baby....

Recover well, brother.

Tasers are great, but there is a time and a place for them, and it is when the suspect doenst have a gun.

I obv dont know the whole story, but in my opinion:

If there is a gun present, mine is in my hand.
If the suspect possesses the gun, my gun is trained on him.
If his gun is trained on me, my bullets are in him.

Dont be to hesitant to use your gun. It just may save someones life, including your own.

"apparently im being monitered now...gotta love censorship..and all im tryin to post is a link to this cop that tasered a woman in front of her kids after dragging her out of her van... unjustifiably i will add.... fredom of speech...raped again.."

I love it, the Military goes any where in the world nearly on a moments notice to defend the constitution with out question asked, endure hardships unthinkable by your average person, not even including being over seas and away from family and friends for 7-12 months.
LEO's patrol the streets 24/7 365 all year all across America, regardless of Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years, or Easter to protect the above 'FREEDOM OF SPEECH'.

And all these terds can do is complain and cry about it.... Unbelievable.

I have an update.

The shooter was depressed about losing his job.  The officer went around behind him and tried to tazer him, but the tazer failed.  When the officer tried to run, he was shot.  Not sure what his backup was doing.

The officer is doing well and recovering from his wounds.
