What is a good brand for nylon gear? I just got on the bicycle team and I need nylon gear.

Safariland......Bianchi

Any of the brands are decent. Each brand has some different options. Like velcro mag pouches v. buttons. Key holders that are belt height or hang below.

Look for what you want and not get stuck on the same brand.

The Safariland SXT holds up really well, looks like nylon and is pretty comfortable.

I like the Don Hume stuff myself, very rigid.

I have an Uncle Mikes duty belt and inner belt (pretty sure from the Ultra line) that looks nearly new.... that I bought in 2000. Been wearing it pretty much 40 + hours a week since, with some time off for good behavior.

Would definitely buy again.... if I ever need a new belt.

Their manufacturing standards have gone down the shitter since 2000, big time. Don't expect the same product.

OP, look into K&W out of WA.

We are issued Safariland and as long as you don't abuse it, it seems to hold up rather well. I had to replace a flashlight case because the snap broke but the replacement has held up and most of the guys in my department are happy with the stuff.

That really sucks! I love my Uncle Mike's stuff, guess I'll have to take care of what I have until I retire. Sad news but thanks for the heads-up.

Most of my nylon gear is Bianchi and it holds up well.
