I'm sure I speak for my entire shift when I say THANK YOU to you for taking the time to post this...

This will be my 1st Thanksgiving day off in 8 years, 1st Christmas off in 8 years as well.

Thank you for your sentiments.

Our shift is off this year - we're working the day after, so we should be able to avoid the annual turkey fire at someone's house.

In addition, it's a City holiday as well, so we shouldn't have any shirts (politicians) or brass hats wandering around.

Off this Thanksgiving, but working some OT at the mall on Saturday...woot.

I should be off on Christmas, but I volunteered to cover for another supervisor who just got married and wants to spend his first Christmas as a newlywed at home.

- Not going to my inlaws, 2 stops they are divorced.
- Not eating too much.
- Not being awake to watch the Lions lose again, I work mids.
- 50 hours of pay for 20 hours of work.

I'm working time and a half right now for the Thanksgiving and time and a half tomorrow for "Family Day." LOVE IT!

I'm also working Christmas Eve/Christmas as well as New Years Eve/New Years. It's gonna be a good couple pay checks

Thank you much. I am taking the wife with me to work and so are some of the other guys, so as long as we can sneak into lubys or don't get rained out on the food we packed. ALL good.
