I am currently thinking about getting this earpiece and wondered if anyone has any thoughts on it.  I was going to go with the Earhugger brand but I have heard bad things about the quality.

I've got one... been using it for about 6 months now. It's loud and clear. I replace the earpiece every few weeks. If it ever breaks, Surefire will replace it.

I run an ep100. its comfortable and clear, no distortion. kinda painful at times when someone screams into their mic and you cant turn yours down low enough.

i had to get surefire to replace mine as it kinda fell apart after about 6 months. where the clip is theres a round metal disc, kinda like a joint that pivots. into that plugs the wire with 2 tiny gold connectors. somehow the holes where the connectors got loose and the connection went bad. dunno how it happened as it never got pulled or jerked loose. in fact i never took it apart.

called surefire and got an RMA, sent in the broken set and got a brand new replacement in about 10 days total. works for me.

Mine started feeling loose, so I used 3 zip ties and zipped it together. No problems so far.
