WHat ratios are you guys doing?  When I first had training it was 5/2, then now it is 15/2, but I hear some places are 30/2 and sometimes compressions only.

We just started the new CCR. Sets of 200 compressions to a total of 600 with electricity in between and only an OPA and nonrebreather. after 600 then we go to ACLS

The 30:2 ratio came out with the 2005 AHA guidelines.  Focus has shifted to more and better compressions.  Defib is even taking a second during an unwitnessed arrest.  They are recommending two minutes of CPR before defibrillation.  Witnessed arrests still get immediate defib if one is available.
