Ordered from them back in early October, they sent me confirmation and a message stating order sent to shipping ...

11/08/2006 still no order. Sent three (3) emails to customer service (yeah right) no response. Finally found a phone number after quite a search, called left message no reply - what's up with this business anyone know anything about them???

I bought a Safiland holster from them that they didn't bother to tell me they DON'T STOCK!  They order it when you order it.  And to they drop ship it...NO. They order it from Safailand which goes the them and they ship it to you.  I emailed them about this and they said "we don't guarantee availability".  WHAT? if I knew it wasn't in stock I would have ordered it from someone else.  Well 6 weeks later I got my holster, that was a year ago.  I will not order from them again.

I guess having "Cops" in their website name is supposed to make you feel all warm and fuzzy.  Sorry for your bad experience and thanks for letting us know about the shitty service.

I ordered from Copsplus one time....took 2 months to get my item. I stick to Galls (even though they're expensive), CopQuest.com, and the local uniform shops. I've never had problems with Galls or CopQuest and they have great service.

lapolicegear.com and the local shop is where I get pretty much everything.

Perhaps they've changed their spots? I saw this thread and got worried. I just placed an order with
them on 11/06. I checked up on it, and they shipped my order on 11/08. I don't know if I'm just lucky....

I use Chief Supply for personal and my department also uses them.  They are great and customer service is very prompt.

newyorkironworks.com is good to go, also.

I've had bad customer svc from copsplus, too.

copsplus is a bad one to deal with.  So is Botac.  I filed a complaint through GSA, hoping that they will pull them fromt he GSA Schedule.

They advertised the new GSG9 boots at a damn nice price.  I ordered them and some Camelbak items.  Got my notification of order, then nada.  Email them, nothing.  Called them, nothing, then they sent me an email stating she answered my questions?  Sent all pertinent data to GSA.

Hopefully they will pull them off the Schedule, since they need Government money to stay afloat.

Good luck.

I honestly don't think Copsplus keeps anything in stock. hing
I'll never use them again.

Not to swim against the tide or anything but I have had good service from copsplus.com...once.  Just enough to get my business again and it was the same as everybody here states.  I did call them and they apologized and my partial order showed up within a few days.  The "backordered" item showed up much later.  Definitely did not meet service expectations.

I've only made one order from Copsplus.com for an M3 light and it shipped pretty fast but I did not deal with customer service. I usually order from LAPoliceGear.com but found it much cheaper (at the time) from copsplus.

Heres what I have found out - Copsplus works out of an apartment in Queens, NY (Astoria ='s fancy name for Queens) - No stock - everything drop shipped and the Dude is a "F-ing" retardo named Myron or at least that's the name he's using today.

This location used to be numerous business names before this one ...

STAY FAR AWAY FROM COPSPLUS...

+1 on both along with galls.com and qmuniforms.com

Thanks for the heads up on copsplus. add botach to the list of crap sites while you're at it.

omb and express police supply have been good to me.  Botach is good but can be a bit slow at times.  I like diamondbacktactical most of the time but their customer service is a little unknowledgable.

HUGE +1.

Recently UPS lost a package from them.  I ordered a Model 77 USP .45 mag holder, Mark 23 holster and a range bag.  I E-Mailed CopsPlus to get the ball rolling to get a investigation started.  It took 4 buisness days to get an E-Mail back stating that it's already been started.  I called UPS and they don't have any tracking in their system.  .  So I call my credit card company and the lady gives me their phone number which isn't listed anywhere on the site.  I call and get Myron and he says that another customer service person is handling my situation but defends their 4 day responce to my letter.

I waited another 2 days and I called UPS back and they still didn't have any tracking information.  So I again called copsplus and I somehow always get Myron (I wonder why this is).  Myron ends up sending another order out the same day on the buisness.  But he got my address wrong.  It took a WEEK of chasing it around (UPS fault because I called them and told them to hold it multiple times which doesn't work) and guess what I got?  A Model 77 USP .45C mag holder.

So I call Myron back and am told that it's a universal mag holder.  Hmm...  So I call Safariland and I'm told that it's not a universal mag holder, I got the wrong one.  Call Myron back and give him the correct part number.  I ended up stretching the flaps out a little bit and it works now but still not 100% right.

Another +1 on staying away.

I ordered a Monadnock collapsable baton from them and it took four months to receive it.
