Has anybody heard the term NOLO in reference to a traffic violation and what does it mean? |
|
Short for "nolo contendere", which is Latin for "no contest". It means "hey, I did it, but it is my first time being a bad boy, so please let me off easy." It is not a guily or not-guilt plea. Not sure how that appears on your record though. I am not an LEO, if that matters to you. |
I got the ticket in Georgia and live in Indiana. Does NOLO mean that Georgia will not send the info to have points taken off my Indiana drivers liscense. |
