Just got a new (2005) CVPI with the Pro-Copper 1050 center console; however, our agency did not get them with the arm rest insert.

A few places have them for $49.95, which I don't mind spending; however, I would like to know if anyone has had any experience with these arm rests?

They seem to look cheap?

Thanks

Make sure it does not get in the way when you draw your weapon from the seated position.

I'd try to get the one that's made for the console for the MDT's.  I tried the plastic one and didn't like it.  The really stipid thing about it is that you have to flip it forward.  So, If you have pop or water in the holders, you'll hit them.  I got the other one with the metal frame.  When I mounted it, I used one of the top bolts on the console for the front of the arm rest, and bolted the back through the plastic.  This way it was a little higher for resting your arm on.  If you want, I can snap a picture of it and send to you, so you can see what I'm talking about.

That would be great if you could send me a photograph of the arm rest.

My E-Mail is [email protected]

Thanks for the info....
