I am looking at purchasing a new flashlight, that I can carry on my duty belt.
I already carry a Streamlight Ultra Stinger, 75,000 cp.

I am looking for something that Is adaptable to mount to an M-4, yet I can carry on my duty belt when not mounted to a weapon. I prefer the brightest possible  "spot" light, ......i.e. no LED's.

I have been looking at Surefire, but there are a TON of choices.

Cost is not an object......I just want the brightest, small enough to carry on a duty belt, and toughest light on the market!!!!!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Get in contact with "brightflashlights" in the industry forum and make sure you get your stuff from him.

Me personally, I like the Tigerlight system in regards to incandescent lights. Kind of big but...

I know you said no LED's but check out the ElektroLumens TriStar Phazer with 4 NiMH C cells!

SureFire is chock full of quality too and you can't go wrong with just about anything they make.

I second Brightflashlights. I've bought from them before and their prices and service are great!

Third vote, and to add: the guy KNOWS the products he sells, too. He'll steer you in the right direction, I'm sure.

Fourth* for "Brightflashlights". A Number 1 in Customer Service IMO.

This is what I do...on my car charger is the streamlight ultrastinger rechargable, on my belt is a surefire M3 combatlight in one of the hard surefire holsters (V something) and on my M4 is a G2 that was upgraded with a surefire clicker tailcap and a shock isolated bezel.

As suggested above, all my surefire stuff has come from brightflashlights!

Try the streamlight tl 3. I just got one to mount on my ar and WOW. They say it is comparable with
the super stinger...it is not is surpasses it. Very tight focused beam I love it. It will not replace my stinger though as those 123's get real expensive. I got the light for 48 and a mount for 26. The stramlght comes with an extra bulb. Sure fire bulbs are almost $20 a piece at the local dist.

I use a surefire 6P for just about everything, I dont need a big flashlight and it seems to be bright enough for anything that I need it for, I havent bought a adapter for it yet to throw it on a M16 but Im sure I will in the near future.

Exactly what I did, on both acounts. Have a 6P and a G2 Nitrolon. The G2 with SIB and tape switch tailcap are on my AR.

Don't be silly with buying one and swapping them around for double duty. The G2 are only $30. Get two.

Get it from Brightflashlights.. He got everything out quickly, and i had a problem with both the flashlight mount(Samco is bad for an old style 6P) and the tape switch. He had a new mount and a new tape switch before I sent the old ones back.

Great Guy!

Man

Streamlight for Surefire......

Both damn fine companies.....

Tough pick...

I like Streamlights M3 because of the ability to swtich...AR's...handguns or on the belt.

Surefire's X200 can do the same...

I got both and they are SWEET!!!
