You've always been able to do the $15 thing. All state classes are taught to ProBoard now. It's up to be AHJ whether or not they offer the ProBoard written and practicals at the end. If not, you get an attendance cert from Va. |

Ill-annoys is still it's own special flower. Luckily several of the training entities have started cross-credentialing with ProBoard or NFPA so we can take our credentials with us. Sadly, it's not retroactive. This. All my certs are useless outside of Illinois including my EMT-P. I could have tested the NREMT-P as well but saw no reason to do so at the time. At this point in my career I still se no reason to do so. |
