Updated led emitters. More lumens per amp with newer LED's Generally generation 1 lights were 5mm LED's these were mostly interior mounted. I have never seen a bar done with 5mm units. 1 watt lights were generally Luxeon I based (40 lumen/mW) Then came the Luxeon III (3 watt) @ 65 lumen/mW Newer stuff is mostly using Cree emitters now at least Federal Signal & Whelen are. |
