| I just got accepted to the police academy during/after my interview this morning. Orientation is this afternoon and it all begins in 3.5 weeks. I feel like a little kid again on Christmas morning. |
| Thanks for all the encouragement. I am just running into roadblocks with financial aid getting denied now and not knowing if the appeal will be in my favor. I cashed in my one time chance to get unpaid educational leave approve at work and it seems it's slipping through my fingers. Academy starts in less than 2 weeks. It is tough trying to do this with a house and family. |

Good Luck. Don't take seriously how the instructors treat you, they are molding you into a good cop. Listen intently and study hard. Before you know it, you are near the finish line.
I graduated the police academy in 1993. It seems like yesterday. BTW, Not all cops are your friend, and keep your significant other away from other cops. Don't date any female cops. Just my 2 cents. |
