| Not a civilian cop but I do work in Emergency Management and one of the EMD's I work with is looking to get some HMMWV's and other high water/off road vehicles for his city. He asked me for help, can you folks point me in the right direction? Thanks! |

I'm aware of DRMO, I am asking about the program that gives free former military vehicles such as HMMWV's (which you cannot buy through DRMO) and other things the .gov will only allow to go to other government agencies. |

Contact user Taft. He is very skilled in LESO which is the police version. He may be able to help you with non-LE versions.
BLUF - your state has to particiapte, then the agency will have to sign up under the state coordinator. Then the agency gets access to the website, screens the property in person or via the net, 'claims' the property, fills out some forms, and picks it up. |

| I worked the 1033 program in Buffalo until 1996. I recall the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency grabbed every fucking vehicle they could get their grubby mitts on. Probably no reason to think they are doing anything different now, so get there before they do! Good luck! |
