After waiting 2 months, we finally took delivery of 60+ rifle plate carrier set ups (including blowout kit)...one for each officer. Took two days to assemble (officers can change/add as they see fit) but worth it...    |

Sweet! It is nice to see a department who will get their guys proper equipment.
I have a similar setup I had to purchase with my own money. If I ever need to use it, would probably get spoken to. They can say what they want. I will take any discipline for the added protection. |

Meh, we went with the idea of letting them move them where ever they want. We just wanted to get them on the racks so we could issue them in one piece. Before its done I imagine they will come up with some creative ways to mount crap on the molle realstate... I was pleasantly shocked when I found out they actually purchased stand alone level IV plates

Why can't they give LE what we NEED to do the damned job?  You have no idea...This. It takes forever for us to get anything new. This past October we swapped holsters and I had to put together a presentation on why we should get updated holsters. There was a lot of people who did not want to change but thankfully they saw the light. |
