You'd have to modify the current box as they are designed to lock down when activated. It might be a simple as connecting the wires on the pull box (I believe they're only a single pole switch). I guess my first move should be to get one in hand and see what they consist of. |
| You will have to rebuild the inside, as the wires are too thin to run anything that is going to draw a lot of power. The ones we were using for conversions were set up to run on thin wires (can't remember the ga) and they weren't much thicker than the in house telephone wires. |

I will try and get my hands on one and tear it apart. I don't mind doing a little wiring as I think it will be fun. |

Look at the back of the pull box and see if you can just make it sit over the top of the switch and flip the switch with the up and down movement. You could never return to the firehouse if you caused your own electrical fire because of your wiring. LOL
Cool idea though, I like it |

Once I get one in hand I will be able to figure the best route out. |
