My EMT-B class ends in a couple weeks, and I have NREMT tests scheduled for early June.
I am so close...I can almost taste it.

Have two meetings next week with 2 local EMS about volunteering ...One as an EMR, the other as an EMT. First is true volunteer, the other is a pay per call volly service.

How long after getting your cert did you all have to wait for a position on a service?

Depends on how understaffed a place is. My damn agency will put anyone on the road. Whether they know protocols or not.

Passed the EMT-B class with a 96.7%
Looks like there are several options for me in the local area.

NREMT psychomotor skills test this morning....PASSED!
Gonna schedule the written as soon as I can.
Looks like I might have a part time job soon working weekends midnight-8:00 am.
