this is for leo's only

what do you think of an officer that will lie on the stand, this is brought to the chief and town council's attention and then later he is made chief?

this is in reference to a case involving me
had the officer told the truth on the stand
my testimony would have convicted me(not dwi)
case was dismissed, just wanted an opinion

btw.he seems to be doing a decent job now, better than the last chief .
of course my newest son could do better than the last cheif,he due oct,6,2002

And your complaint is....?

You didn't provide anywhere near enough info for any reasonable person to give an informed opinion.

That said, apparently the town council was satisfied with the new chief's character.  The opinions you would get here would likely be on no value as the information you provide would be from one-side of the issue.

Sounds like you and the officer made out OK in the deal.

This makes no sense.  Your testimony would have convicted you?

What does (not DWI) have to do with it?

You did offer compelling proof that the officer lied didn't you? Or is it your word against his? What did he have to gain by lying on the stand? What would you have to gain by accusing him of lying on the stand?
