Hi,
New girl here. I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. I’ve been lurking here a while under my husband’s account and thought I’d open my own. I’ve wanted to post a few times, but was reluctant to do so from his account. I didn’t want to post from a woman’s perspective under his screen name, lest people think he might be gay. Or is that ‘caught teh ghey’? LOL. I just wanted to use that term. ( I told you I’ve been lurking). I know general discussion is a mad house, and although I do enjoy the hilarity (and hope to participate from time to time), I thought I’d say hello here in the woman’s forum first. Glad to be here, and hope to be able to contribute to this great site, PetuniaKisses P.S. I own & shoot a Springfield XD & a Taurus 1911 that I absolutely LOVE!...It's the sweetest gun I have ever shot with...We go to the range almost every other Thurs. (Thurs. are our date night)...Girls shoot free Mon.-Thurs.To me there's nothing more empowering than an armed woman that loves shooting, loves her guns, & knows how to clean them & break them down...It is quite addicting, don't ya think????? PSS: My hubby says, the grammar nazis are going to have a field day with me...

We're always delighted to have a new girl amongst us, especially one that's into 1911's.  (Okay, maybe I'm a little biased. I'm a 1911 girl, too.) Anyway, there's much to be learned here, so dive right in and don't be afraid to ask any questions. Just be warned about the leg humpers that will follow you around since your new. If I had my way they'd be banned for begging for pics, but then we'd only have like 12 people on the site. For now, you'll just have to put up with it. *sigh*

That's one of the things I love about him. When it gets too bad I just swat him on the nose with a rolled up newspaper.
