Why do women always have headaches?

in before all the ARFwomen tell you they never use that excuse to refuse to have sex with their man and that's it's just you and your choice of women

Well, I have never used that as an excuse not to have sex, contrary to what TheCanuck says. I only ever have headaches when I am stressed, pms'ing, or really tired. Usually a headache is a sign that you are sick or about to become sick or you have experience some sort of trauma in your life recently. YMMV and whatnot.

ETA: I need to learn to spell.

Heh, my bad. Don't be mad!!

And I don't think its necessarily his choice in women. Men get headaches too. Just some people are more susceptible to them.

Because 'not tonight' ends up with whining and complaining.

Because like most dudes you don't understand that in a free market economy anything given away for free is essentially worth nothing.  Seriously dude,  people don't want perfection they want improvement, make her work for it.  Tell her "No, I'm not in the mood" a few times.....

Of course all this assumes that reaper-love is worth working for.

i dont get headaches very often––if i say i have a headache, i have one

i dont lie to avoid sex, though sp1grrrrrrl's answer made me laugh and is kinda truthful

i do know a lot of women who complain regularly about "migraines," which i have never suffered from

It's the prozac side effect.

LOL thanks for the replies ladies.  The guys in GD did not think anyone had the balls to ask in here.

PS and Reaper love is worth it.

Lessee, why do women get headaches...

Same reasons men get headaches, and add PMS to that.

Weather fronts, stopped up heads from allergies, sinus trouble, stress, neck strain, eye fatigue, working in a loud environment, noise with no ear protection, migraines, and brain tumors to name a few.

Never used it as an excuse. Though a whiney husband might give me a headache. It could happen.

I never had migraines EVER until about a year ago. I've had two in the past year. Not fun. I believe those were stress-induced.

I don't know many women who ALWAYS have headaches.  If you ALWAYS have a headache, you need to go to the doctor.

kitties

 So true

Seriously though - I have migraines alot.  3 in the last 6 months, if she really is susceptible to headaches give her a break.  Dizzy, nauseous and what feels like a spike through the back of your head would you want anything to do with anyone?

Or stop giving her extra headaches to start with.

I don't make it up if I have one - so not an "excuse"

I know I gave a sarcastic answer, but it IS true.  As for the headache thing, to be honest, I get them a lot right now because of being pregnant.  All I can take is Tylenol for it, and that's like candy.  If I ever say I have a headache, it's the truth.

I get them a lot from weather, allergies and stress.  Not so much lately but being preggers never helps.  Hopefully in a few months I will be back to normal..  Migraines kick in because I get light sensitivity and high air pressure.. Mine kick in mostly when everything is blooming around here..

ETA:  It's not an excuse until I am nauseated from it..

Trying to see your little wee wee makes her head hurt.  Buy her some reading glasses.

I get migranes and regular headaches.

For a regular headache I frequently try to get a little one on one time from the spouse. Nothing gets rid of a regular headache better. It gets rid of the tension and regular headaches are often caused by tension soooooo......

Sadly, a migraine requires drugs, quiet, and a dark room for a couple of hours.

I never get them, unless I'm dehydrated (i drink a lot of coffee... not so much water )... so I couldn't tell ya. Here are some things you can use to diagnose this problem:

1) does she have long hair?
2) Does she drink plenty of water?
3) do you talk a lot in a high-pitched nasal tone?

Hehehe.... I never "have a headache" so I can't say.

Could be that she's bored. Spice it up.

I personally have never used the headache excuse to get out of sex, I can never get enough of my husband he's so cute. I used to get headaches on a weekly for years until I figured out that is was being caused by my anemia. As long as I take my iron supplements regularly I am good to go. I have always thought they were caused by a chemical imbalance in the body in some way or another.

Excuses in any form are sort of lame, but could it be that..... they really have a headache or the man is the headache (ie. she's miffed at him).
