Thanks for the compliments everyone! It just seems like he was born, then I blinked, and now he's one. I'm trying to hold my eyes open with toothpicks so it doesn't happen again. The last thing I need is to blink and there be a teenager in front of me. 
I knew as soon as I saw that you'd posted, there'd be a photoshop job involved.

Yep, and this one's a girl. She's going to give me a run for my money, especially since Colt is so good. Everyone keeps telling me that this new one's going to kick my butt all over the place. I'm skeered.
Your son's name is Colt? That is all kinds of WIN!!!!
What's your plans on naming the new one? As it's a girl & in keeping with the gun tradition, I'd reccomend "Goldie". Short for "Gold cup 1911".
Or how about "Emma". Not gun related but still pretty sounding.

I think I may have some issues. it goes WAY too fast... I just signed mine up for driver's ed.  Colt is precious - I can't believe it's already been a year...
as for the girl... I like Kimber, too... just be ready... mine was hormonal from day one... how differently does she behave already? mine was WAY more active in utero than my son... I knew I was in for it before she even came out...

Don't worry SP1grlll they slow down during the teenage years, trust me and from the FWIW file, I called my daughter my little sigh of relief when she was little!
Colt is beautiful, how can you get any work done? I would spend my day staring into those blue eyes!! |
