Did you hear that?  Glockgirl26 just got sucked into the eBay vortex.

I won my first eBay auction...for a Coach handbag.

My first eBay experience and my first Coach purse...I'm so excited I could puke.

That Coach bag will look funny with the Blade-Tech mag pouches and the M4.

Good for you!  I'm proud of ya!

I'm the ebay queen in my office.  I get at least one request a day to help someone with Ebay.  It's not like it's rocket science.  I should teach a class and make some money.

So far I seem to have a pretty good handle on what I'm doing there, but if I have any questions, I'll bug you, okay?

Here is the one I won a little bit ago...

I'm keeping my eye on another blue hobo style one that I like as well.

The last time I was at ADCO, I had a purse with me and Steve wanted to know how many Glocks and knives were in it.

If the slip of paper in the bag describing the proper care of the bag could be a featured item on HTTP:/www.engrish/com, then you know its a knock-off!

Several years ago my brother was stationed in Korea and he came back with a whole bunch of stuff - Tailored shirts, soft luggage, shoes, and a whole boat-load of Coach knock-offs.

The Coach knock-offs were very nice bags... very high quality!
However, the piece of paper you find in these bags letting you know you have a "genuine" Coach bag (with cleaning & care advice) was a real hoot to read. It was obviously NOT written by anyone who speaks English regularly.

This is supposed to be a guaranteed, genuine bag.  If it's not, I'll be rating eBay right up there with Botach, LOL.

That is why she has the Pink Cav.  You don't now it yet, but she is planning to use this as a happy sack.  She will be doing reloads from it in style.   It will be a female range trend.

A girl at work sells purses on Ebay.  You may have bought from her.  Funny thing is that you can buy big name purses at Ross Dress for Less for pennies on the dollar and then resell them.  What I don't understand: she ships them with the original price tag intact which is often much less than what someone has bid for the item.

I have that one, you'll love it!

Just be careful with buying popular name brand things like this on ebay.  A lot of what is offered are knock offs.  I bought a Fendi a couple years ago from a reputable seller, and it was crap.  It even came with all the stuff they come with when you buy them at the store.  The zipper broke the first time I unzipped it, and the handle ripped.  Just be careful.  I won't pay over $100 for anything on ebay now.  I figure if it's less than that, I won't get pissed off if I get screwed over.

Thanks Sp1Grrl!
I looked for guaranteed "genuine" or "authentic" on the ones I thought I was interested in, and the ones that offered close-up pics of the label on the bag.  I lost the auction on the other one I wanted because I didn't want to go much over $100.  I've also been looking at the sellers' reputations and feedbacks too before I get too zealous.

My last purse that I've been carrying for a year and a half cost me a whole $8.  I'm due for something nice.

I guess I shouldn't introduce you to the eBay Live Jewelry Auctions then, huh?

I don't really have a jewelry habit.  I have a few nice pieces that I wear and enjoy, but it's not my *thing*.  I don't really have any girly *thing* habits.

This is funny - I just won another auction for a bag similar to the one I lost yesterday, for a good price.  Then I got an email offering me the one I supposedly lost yesterday at my last bid, because the person who drove the bidding up backed out.  Does this happen a lot?  That seems rude on the other buyer's part to me.  Is there an eBay etiquette that I should know about?

My wife didn't have a "Jewelry Jones" either, unitl she found the live auctions. LOL

I have had several sellers contact me after the auction to see if I was still interested. If I still want the item, I'll make an offer, but it'll be less than the winner bid. I sometimes get the feeling that they are using shill bidders to get the price up, then coming back to real bidders to make the sale.

In the final analysis, as long as you are getting it for what YOU want to pay, then it's all good.

In the end I was satisfied with both bags and both prices I gave for them.  I got two new bags for less than what one new one would cost me had I paid retail.

So it's all good.  I'm not jonesing for any new jewelry or anything else at the moment, so I think I'm done with eBay for now.  I got what I wanted.

I buy from E-bay often! I only get in trouble when someone tries to out-bid me. I get mad, and end up spending WAY more then I should, just to "win."

I like that bag Glock girl! VERY cute. Welcome to the addiction.

Be careful on buying purses on ebay, NBC just did a special on the today show about fake handbags on ebay.
