I have noticed that many of you are very active in quilting. So, post the pics of your quilts and brag on yourselves for just a minute or two. |
Here are a few of mine. I've posted pics of them before, but i'll post them again b/c I have no shame.  I just made a couple more at my quilt retreat a few weeks ago, but I haven't taken any pics of them yet. I still need to quilt and bind them.This one is all embroidery applique in the center panel, which is 2' by 2'.  Still need to bind this one. I quilted it myself. The picture really doesn't do the colors justice.  I think the only pic of this one that I have is a close up. It was the first one I quilted myself on a long arm.  This one is one of my favorites. After I quilted it, I decided I didn't like the quilting, so I'm in the middle of taking all the stitching out.  This one I made for a friend of my mother. It has fun fur yarn all over it, as well as Swarovski crystals.  This was my very first foray into quilting. A Christmas wall hanging with embroidery and applique.  I'll post pics of the other two when I get them out of the car. |
Hand sewing, good Lord! Talk about time and patience...Do you have a bigger picture of it?

I'll have to dig out my photos. I made a minature heart quilt for my neice when she got married. It was alot of tiny work, and then she got divorced a year later  ....never did ask if she kept the quilt! I think I will email her.....otherwise I would take it back.
