ok so i feel dumb because i didn't realize that my man bought me a team membership. he rawks and i'm the luckiest chick in the world to have him. he's always there for me and now he's provided me with pink buttons! CousinIT50 is the best! Sorry to gush but i had to:) it's been a rough day, my mom is in the hospital so he just made the silver lining on my dark cloud.

welcome to the team  i like your avatar--hubby and i were out a few weeks ago and we saw a girl with a t-shirt that said "brunette is the new blonde" which cracked me up--i went to ask her where she got it and she said at Fashion Bug just a few days before--i havent had a chance to go by the Fashion Bug in our mall, but i want to--id DEFINITELY wear that shirt  |
 Yay! Hope your mom is doing okay...I'm glad you found a cool guy too! They are definitely MORE than worth their weight in gold. And since I've been a full-fledged blonde all my life, and I'd look completely ridiculous as a brunette, I'm going to ignore your avatar and continue to embrace my blondness.  (You do know I'm kidding, right?)

thank you all for your welcomes and such! to give you all an update on mom she is stable, she was in the ER until about 9pm (mind you we got there last night via ambulance around 9:30) my cousin finally got them to take her to a room. thank god my aunt and my cousin took me to the hospital, we got her settled in, they did the MRIs on her knee today but no results yet. she was in good spirits. she seemed to be in less pain. i left her cell phone with her so i can keep in touch with her and updated. i'll keep you guys informed, thank you for prayers. p.s. i hate new york hospitals and to give you a little background on mom she has osetoarthritis and her knee just blew out on her last night. |
they keep trying to send her home without giving her the results of the MRI and the doctor keeps saying that there "may" be nothing wrong with her. i'm no doctor but i have a medical background and work in the field and how you can decide on treatment or non-treatment without knowing what the problem is, is beyond me. i have a strong feeling that i'm going to be forced to contact my lawyer because they are treating my mom like she has no right to diagnosis and treatment. at this point i'm furious. my mom has more right to treatment than these people that come here with nothing to their name. my mother is a hardworking AMERICAN with health insurance and a job. she pays her taxes and is a law-abiding, contributing citizen. she should be provided with care. not treated like she is a burden to them because they don't feel like doing their jobs.
