I've decided that is isn't prudent to continue this discussion because it involves issues that I should probably best leave private. Thank you to all those who've offered prayers and kind thoughts. |

Update: Well, it's been two full days now since the surgery. Sarah is doing ok, though she has to move "gingerly" and she needs to stay off her feet. The biggest problem is that our 1 year old can't understand why mommy needs her to stay off of mommy's lap. I'm a little worn out trying to be Mr. Mom, but I'm doing my best. How on earth does she keep up with the children every day?! Anyway, tomorrow I'm going to grab a 1/2 pound of chocolate for Sarah. Some kind of truffle from See's Chocolates. Aw heck, I might as well get her a full pound worth. That should help her feel a little better. Perhaps I should get a little extra for myself. You know...so I can "empathise" with her. |
Thanks for the update...glad she's doing well (and you're getting tuckered...I love watching the MR try to keep with the boys! ) |
You would have had a real laugh watching me try to manage the three kids at our church services today. I'd take one girl out to the foyer to get her quiet and calmed down, and go back in to the chapel pew, just to have the other girl tell me that she needs to use the bathroom. |
Hey cool . Nam Ghost made it over here. See I told ya so. We share lots of medical episodes over here. The place really ought to be called the Arfcom FAMILY section. Yeah, I'd like to see pictures of Shane wrestling with three kiddos in church. Daddy, can I get a drink of water??? Daddy, why does that lady's hair look blue??? Daddy, will Pastor EVER get finished??? |
See, now I'd go to church just to WATCH that! ![]() |
www.guidant.com/ Go to procedures on left side!! Looks like fun ![]() Not meaning to highjack your thread |
sometimes we make it look a little too easy. I remember seeing my 6'5 BIL in a similar situation....he ended up solving the issue by putting 3 y/o neice on shoulders and carrying the twins like a football under each arm. You're one of the good guys Shane, she's blessed to have you. |
