Well ladies, today is the day. Winston our oldest Bassett and king of this castle is going under the knife today to remove a lump on his front leg. He has had this same surgery done before and the lump is really of no concern, it is the going under that worries me. Winston turned 11 on the 4th of July and he isn't exactly young anymore. He is also MrGH's buddy and I know if something happened MrGh would be devastated.

I am going to be getting dressed here soon to go drop him off. I'll update later this afternoon after he comes home on how he did.  TIA ladies

Winston is the dog in the front facing the camara.

We are home and Winston is sooooooo sleepy. No food or water yet until tomorrow morning, but he wagged his tail and was very happy to see me when I arrived. The vet took a moment to talk with me and said the lump was the same as before, fluid filled and no need for worries, the only thing I have to work on is to keep "Mr Grumpy" from picking at the stitches. MrGh will be home within 15 minutes or so and will be glad to see him I am sure.  Thanks again.
