Ladies if you will excuse a Man for intruding, we have several people that are going through difficult times. I don't know them or live with any of them BUT they are my brothers and sisters. If you feel the same way then just post here. We are the largest gun board in existance and we are all part of the same family. If there is anything we can do let us know. You people that are having problems don't need to drag anything out or explain ANYTHING. Just let us know if we can help in anyway. I have a company phone that can certainly be used if anyone needs a talk. Let us know. |
I feel the same way. I've gotten to know some of the people on this board, and I really feel like this is one big family. I'm a good listener, too, if anyone ever needs to talk. There will come a time when I need to, and I know that I will be welcomed with open arms.

Um, how do I make a million bucks by tomorrow?   Sorry to break the serious mood, but it just had to be done.  I'm with you guys. I'll listen to anyone that needs to talk. I may not be able to give you an answer, but I'll at least listen. |

I won't embarass anyone by mentioning their name, but let's just say that for every post I make on arfcom, I probably send or recieve a half-dozen IM's. I've gotten LOTS of support from various arfcommers on various personal issues...and am always happy to take time to try and give some back. |

I am glad someone put up this topic, it shows the support network that has been built. I am here to help too. I have gotten alot from this site and will give what I can to help others. I was married at 19, 2 kids by 20. Divorced by 21. Remarried and have 4 more kids plus 2 step sons. I have boys and girls, teens and tottlers. We have exs, and the exs new husband/wife. We have lawsuits to enforce decrees and lawyers to protect us from the exs. Exs= my ex-wife, my wifes ex-husband and her ex-husbands new ex-wife. We have delt with kids in big trouble,kids in little trouble,money pressures,work woes,the loss of loved ones,a baby with heart surgery,family strokes/cancer and accidents.Sometimes the wife and I find ourselves fighting for no reason because we have been fighting others/defending ourselves for so long that we forget that we are on the same team. I have my family and friends to thank for helping us when in need, but I have read several posts where the person feels that they are alone. Trust me, when in straits, even an unknown friend can be a huge help. My e-mail/IM is checked daily. If you feel it important enough to open up to me, I can asure you I will give it the same importance. Lonny |
| Well, I for one know how wonderful the Arfcom family is and I think just about every woman on the board has IMed me in the last week to give support or just to see how I was hanging in there. I would gladly to the same for the others in a heartbeat. Its my turn to give back. |
