Ladies, I am only posting in here, because I want to bring something important to your attention, and I want to appeal to you for some help. There is a family, like many others in our great nation, that has lost a son in Iraq. It is hard to imagine the pain and suffering the families of our fallen heroes are enduring, but it strikes close to home none the less. These people are our neighbors, friends, co-workers, sometimes, whether it near or far, they are in our own families, and of course they are fellow Americans. Americans.... just the word makes a statement doesn't it. We are a nation like none other. Created by men, and women, with a great dream, a dream of freedom. To live our lives in peace and harmony and to raise our children outside the bonds of oppression. Many times has our great nation come to the aide of others in the world, we have fought evil armies during 2 world wars, helped to rebuild nations that were devastated during them, we have fed the hungry, sent doctors to cure the ill, and helped out in times of disaster and strife in all corners of the globe. Now it is time to help our own.... There is a worthy and noble cause in the GD. Please go to the link at the bottom of this post and read thru the thread. Please do what you can to help in this effort to begin the healing for this family. I know there are other families out there in need also, and we as a united group we can make a difference for them. I am going to ask the site owners for a "Fallen Heroes" thread. I believe this will give us a better way of communicating, and a way of expressing our appreciation to those in need of support.
