Hi, I'm new here. I don't shoot yet, my husband is going to be teaching me this summer. I noticed that just about everyone here is very supportive of our military and was wondering if I can start my first post with asking a favor. Please go to www.navywives.com amd say thank you. There are links on that site to the other branches of the military also. I am a former military spouse and still visit the message board. Alot of the wives, parents, and husbands over there are going through some really tough times. When you're alone and far from everyone you know little things like parking tickets, and grocery shopping become pure hell. A small thank you from a stranger that appreciates the sacrifices their spouses are making would mean so much to many of them. Thanks.

Welcome aboard. I myself am ex-military. We are soon sending our son off to basic training in Oct.
He's following in Mom and Dad's footsteps along with a long line of relatives. You will find there is alot of ex-military and current military on this board, and you will also find we go above and beyond for those that are serving. Hope you enjoy your stay here and don't let some of ther guys here get to you.

Hi, and thanks for the welcome. I didn't know there was someone named gunnut on this site. LOL I should have looked into that before making this my user name. He's not MY gunnut :)

Oh, okay.  He's a good guy and either lives in northern Illinois or southern Wisconsin.  I'm a cheesehead too (job took me to Illinois), so again, welcome!

Welcome.   I hope you enjoy learning to shoot.  I first learned in basic training.  Those basic principles have been the most helpful of anything I've learned, and of course, practice, practice, practice.
