I tell you what, there is nothing like trying to watch a movie and you hear this loud bang coming from your husbands office.

Well,it just so happens that my husband was in his office when this loud bang went off. And you know what is was? It was a bullet going off. Yep you heard me right. He was loading a 22 and some fell under his desk the other day. and when he scooted back in his chair. He rolled over the 22 bullet and it went off! I guess it could've been worse.

I told him that from now on,if he dropped bullets on his floor. That if he didn't pick them all up. that he was going to hear it from me!

Anyone else have these problems?

WHOA!  Tiffany's a little quick to break out the S&M Gear...  [;)]  J/K Tiffany!  I do agree Mona, Some sort of disciplinary action should be taken...  My big (read: heavy) friend stepped on a 22LR in some gravel, and I heard, "BANG" and he pulled his shoe off and removed a little piece of brass from his heel.  I laughed, and asked him if it tickled. [lol]

Just make him feel like a dork for doing it, and he'll likely be more careful in the future...

Yes it will. It will take forever. Cause I constantly remind him about it everytime he's in his office reloading something or loading his mags.

Heck my dad's had 3 ND's:

1)  12 Guage discharged by my head in a work shed.

2)  H&K P7 discharged into a window ac unit.

3)  22 lr pistol discharged into a night stand.

My Dad, a police officer, was cleaning his 357 at the dining room table and it discharged-the bullet traveled through the kitchen, through a closet door and the back wall of the closet, continued into my brother's bedroom where it split the space between the bunkbeds where my little brothers were sleeping and buried in the back wall between their room and my room.

I don't recall what my Dad's response was, but anytime he cleaned his weapon we scattered like dust on the wind!

Damn that's scary! I don't think the round would have much force outside of a firearm, but who knows.

I've washed and dried ammo before, never went off, but I chucked the ammo then anyway, I know tumbling can change the powder in dangerous ways, don't know about heat. I would have liked to fired one off to see if it still worked as it was commercial ammo (7mm Rem Mag) which I don't think is sealed.
