I was reading the latest Shotgun News and they had an article on a C&R class III weapon.  The article made it sound as if there is an ownership difference between the two.(C&R vs. non C&R)  Being an IL resident, it's "NO CLASS 3 FOR YOU!"  That is unless this offers an alternative.  Any insight on this??

A couple of states will only allow the ownership of full-autos that are also C&Rs, so that could be an advantage, though I don't know about Illinois.  Of course, the tiny number of C&R full autos means that they are rediculously expensive, and that's compared to "normal" transferables.
