I'm sending off my paperwork for a sbr and i'm wondering if I should go ahead and send two since I have 2 stripped lowers. With the last bill what were the restrictions. I can only remember the restriction on 30 rounders but there had to be more. Were there a restiction on length? If there wasn't a restriction on length I will wait to do a 2nd one later. Thanks

There was nothing different about NFA items in the '94 AW ban.

As repeated several times a week, no one knows what a potential future law would specify.

This is to answer the question to the last AWB of 94 and doesn't relate to any possible future bans.

Actually the 94 AWB did effect SBR's in this way, during the ban if you SBR a post ban AR-15 lower, it still had to meet all critera for a so called post ban rifle, ie, could not have more than the 2 of which was banned.  Hence pistol grip meant you couldn't have a threaded barrel and couldn't use a silencer on it.
