My GF's daughter is dating someone that I'm not 100% sure about.   What's the best way to run a criminal background check on him?

Plenty of places online offer background checks. I am not sure how good they are.

Just speed by a cop one day and get stopped with the BF in the car. A good way to get a background check done

Not sure about whether this is legal, but most PIs can manage to run a credit check, which is you are concerned you should check anyway.
