What are the legalities of shipping firearm parts overseas? For instance, can you ship a buttstock over to Europe through the USPS or are you going to have to get an export license and/or State department approval? I know that receivers would require extra paperwork but I don't know about the other parts. The reason that I ask is because these boards are viewed by those worldwide and sometimes those abroad ask to have parts shipped to them. Any factual help would be appreciated.

It really depends on the country.  Furniture is probably okay, but barrels, bolts, receivers, and magazines will all be restricted at tightly controlled.
