<A 17-year-old Swansboro High School student was in jail Friday on $1 million bond after being charged with having a weapon of mass destruction - an assault rifle - on the school's campus.> http://tinyurl.com/2m6dxy $1M bond for possession of an AR15? When's the last time you saw a $1M bond? Lots of murderers and rapists don't get $1M bonds. On the bright side, it turns out Bush was right. Saddam Hussein did have WMD after all. The Iraqi army had hundreds of thousands of AK-47's, and they were (are) full-auto, not semi-auto. Standing by for apologies from Clinton, Schumer, Pelosi, et al.... |

$1M bond is unheard of, except for killing somebody. There is a story in the news today about a guy who held up two banks in two days, and got $102,000 bond. Another story is about a rapist who got a $100,000 bond. The reporter gives the impression that if the punk had stolen a .38 revolver, or a Remington 870, or a .30/06 rifle, it would not have been nearly as bad. The reporter's wet pants come from the kid "having a weapon of mass destruction - an assault rifle - on the school's campus. "Ohmygodohmygodohmygod! He's got a semi-automatic assault rifle! A weapon of mass destruction! The sky is falling! Oh, the howwow! The howwow!" The reporter needs to get a grip -- and some Depends. |
