Hello all, I have Blue Book 18th Edition and I need to figure out how to cite something.  I need to know how to cite a pocket part in ALR.  All I can find is info for pocket part citiation in supplements.  Any lawyers or students out there who can help?

Sounds like you are doing a worksheet for a legal writing class.  Do you happen to go to FSU?

No, I go to Florida Coastal in Jacksonville.  Someone asked the question in class and I couldn't find it anywhere in the Blue Book.

I thought you just added the supplement date in at the end of  the annotation (like Supp. 2007) but I've only had an undergrad course on legal writing so take it for what its worth. I don't have my blue book here or I'd check for you.

According to my 2nd Edition ALWD Citation Manual, if the material is only in the supplement, do it like:
(2d ed., Prentice Hall L. & Bus. Supp. 1994).

Use the date of the supplement, not the original.
