the old myth about "Black Talons" is that they're Teflon Coated and that they will penetrate a bullet proof vest because of this. Of course the Teflon thing was a myth. Our state statutes here in Bama do mention Teflon coated bullets being prohibited.

And as someone else mentioned the "Black Talons" are not the best defensive round out there. There are several others that far exceed "Black Talons" which are perfectly legal.

The only problem with you knowing that these are legal is???????????? Not all LEO know it. So watch out for ignorant people.

The teflon was for protection of the gun bore.
These rounds are illegal in KY as well. So even a "gun savey" state sometimes is PC.
