What a joke

"Full regulation summaries for each state are linked to the state's name.  The site containing these regulation summaries was not created by English 202C students, but it is a credible resource created by the Brady Campaign."

It's a copy right off their state gun laws website.  I read it once in awhile for a joke.  I like how PA got a D+ yet they show that chart with hunting accidents declining.  Almost makes sense.

Firearm Safety Institute of American is another fake organization that is solely against gun ownership.

I love their spin on everything "hidden killer handguns."

Alabama gets an "F" for "FUN"!

I was looking for some gun laws the other day and stumbled onto the Brady Campaign site.  What a joke!  I fealt dirty having been on they're site, like they might gain something from an extra person on they're ticker.

I also got a kick out of the "Hidden Guns at Bars thing".

I never thought I would live long enough to see those two terms in the same sentence.

Sorry for the double post...

I actually started reading this drivel. I was feeling ill in my stomach and then I found this jewel:

...We wish to provide the
reader with information on what their states are doing legislative-wise to protect their
citizens. Also, we will select a few states and give examples from the information we
have gathered which highlight how they excel at firearm protection. While the states that
excel in gun control law might still have more gun violence than states with a poor gun
control grade, our focus is on the laws themselves, not the action of the people....

**snip**

This portion of the project evaluates the laws in place in every state
that concern legal gun regulation. The grades each state receives are not based on gun
related death or injury statistics from the state. The point of examining legal gun
regulation is to make an attempt to limit the number of firearm accidents that occur from
legally purchased guns. While it may be true that some states given a “good grade” have
higher death rates from firearms in general, we are more concerned with the fraction of
those deaths coming from accidents with legally purchased guns. This portion of the
project does not seek to limit illegal firearms or to provide insight into the legislation
required to prevent injuries resulting from the use of illegal firearms
.

I  -  can't   -  go  -  - on!     Tooooo    Revolting!

That doesn't make sense?

So their only providing insight into restricting people who legally purchase firearms?  Riiiiiiiiight.....
