The search function is down, so sorry if this has been asked before. I want to build a new upper just for plinking/blasting. The upper will be fitted to a post-ban lower. I have an opportunity to get most of the parts I need to build the upper at an extremely good price (some are free). One of the parts I can get is a barrel with a bayonet lug and a flash suppressor. My question is, can I use this barrel to build the upper if I have the bayonet lug cut off ? The barrel is 20 inches long, so I could also have the barrel cut at the suppressor threads if required. Thanks in advance. |
It's OK to have a brake permanently attached ? I thought you were limited to two evil features, in my case for the post ban it would be the pistol grip and detachable mag. I'd love to be able to have a brake on it. |
Detachable magazine is a prerequasite , not a feature. An assault weapon is a semi auto rifle with a detachable magazine AND 2 or more of .... <evil feature list>. Weld the mag on and have all the features. I am going to be glad when I don't ever have to explain that again. |
