A friend's son (22yrs old) got rung up for a solvent trap adapter and filter on his rifle while shooting. Bail was $3000 and now they have a lawyer. His prior was a DUI about 2 years ago. I wish I had more details than that, but likely the local cops got him. Will he be rung up on Federal or State charges? What is likely to happen in court? Orange County CA. His dumbfuck uncle was with him, who was a felon on parole and immediately violated. Two retired cops and myself told him to get rid of the fucking thing. |

Keep a look out for another "ATF ruling"... against manufacture and sale of "solvent trap adapters" in coming weeks! Doesn't need a ruling. It's been federal law since 1934 Use as designed and for the purpose of trapping solvents while cleaning isn't a violation of the NFA. Use it as a silencer and you violate the NFA. |

People who try find ways 'around' laws often end up being called 'honey' by their cellmate. |
