I just got a set of the Mugpul MBUS for $65 (front and rear). I like 'em so far. PS you know you can adjust the rear aperture to the large one by prying apart the reticle at the top of the sight, right? You got a great deal for both front and rear for $65. |

Well, after your thread yesterday where you said you didn't have one, then said you couldn't figure out how to switch apertures with the one you had, after you said you didn't have one.... I went back to the gun show and got it today. My wife wasn't happy about dragging here there this morning but she had the money. ETA I didn't add in that thread I was looking at the brochure. |

It was on sale but the same vendor still has a fairly good combo deal. Link to Superior Defense Solutions $80 package deal. They seem to have raised the shipping charge by $1 as well; I got my set for $70 shipped. |

Are you the one running a Bushy upper with non F marked front sight w/ a short post? DSA. But I am in the process of fixing that. I believe bushmaster sells a taller post to correct this issue. Thats my fix. A member here kindly offered to send me one. |

I'm a metal sight guy myself, but the MBUS are an excellent value. True. I paid $180 for a set of Troy front & rear BUIS. I paid $65 for my MBUS set. You're basically paying 1/3 of the cost of Troys .... But you're getting 1/3 the sight. How do you figger that? Honest question –– and like I said, I have Troys, ARMS, Midwest and Magpul sights. I don't go into harms way as a vocation so maybe I'm not seeing a 300% increase in quality from the Magpul to the Troy sights. NB regular price for Troy BUIS is normally around $240 for a set ($140 rear, $100 front); I paid $180 because of AIM Surplus's introductory deal. So figger on paying $240 for a set of Troys instead of $180. |
