Had the urge to do some paperwork, and filled the niche of a pocket gun.  $349
Here it is in all it's underwhelming glory.

Isn't it awesome?
Nah, I know.

I love my LCP. It's a true "pocket gun".

It's the one gun I own that I can truly forget I'm carrying. This isn't the case with J-frames, or any of my other small semi-autos.

So when did Kel-tec's P3AT patent expire?

It's pre-obama.  All my .380's are full, and I have those extra 3 rounds.

.380 ball is out there, but not defensive ammo.

Thats a great price.  Here they are 260.00.  We just got some 380 in town, 14.75, but then there's a 6% tax.  I've purchased 5 so far.  Accurate too.  I load 3 gr. 231 for plinking and training kids and all.  Accuracy load at 3.2/231, but don't know how long the guns last at this load.  Enjoy!!

I am, and there is no slide lock.

Awesome!  There is!

The gun shop said no.  I though they knew everything.

My apologies regarding the slide lock.

I almost bought the Kel Tec because they were certain this didn't have it - but I liked the smallness of this a bit better.

Good deal.

The slide doesn't lock back on the last round, but it does have a manually activated slide lock.

I figure I'll shoot it once to test, then just carry it as necessary.

Not my best carry choice, but sometimes you can't carry what you want.

Better than nothing, lighter than my PPK/S, disappears in you pocket.

$50 too much.

I decided to go ANTI LCP. I bought a Kimber Warrior today. 5" steel frame, it ejects LCPs after firing a round.

Appreciate that, but I'm really pleased it has that - I was kind of unhappy when I thought it didn't.

Gunshop guys apparently don't know everything.  I'm shocked.

Exactly.  One time I was asking myself "where is my LCP?" and realized it was still in my jeans pocket.

Funny thing is, I was actually thinking of buying my first 1911 today.

Nobody had anything decent, and I said heck, might as well just get an LCP while it's in stock and less than $400.  They were asking $429 the last gun show.

It's kinda neat, almost like a real gun.

Meh, no biggie.  I carried my P3AT around for months missing the ejector, then one day I took it apart and noticed it looked like something was missing.

I as many others are probably not shocked. Do research before you buy a gun and you'll know far more about it than most gun shop employees.

I bought my second 1911 about 3 weeks ago.  A Rock Island Armory 1911-A1 Tactical for $430.  I still need to put a lot more rounds through it, but so far no hiccups after the first mag and it's very accurate:

Call Phil at Bellshire Arms.  615-860-4212.

Normally I'm all over research before buying.  This was kind of an impulse buy.

Kind of like, "well see you guys later - oh, wait I guess I'll take the LCP..."

Then while I'm doing paperwork someone calls asking for a LCP, the guy has the balls to say he might - if this guy buying the last one gets turned down on the background check...

He knew if I got turned down he had a buyer for $389.

I was like

ETA - I'll check out that Rock Island 1911..

From what I have seen, the Citadel is a bit more pricey for some reason.  Same gun, more money.
