I just found it in the archive search. Someone posted a video of a bunch of douche-bag teenagers trying out a "bulletproof vest" which was in reality a standard issue flak jacket. They shot the kid with a 9mm, it penetrated enough to break skin and crack ribs. Then he got smart and didn't let them test it with the rifle they brought along.

My reply was pointing out that it was a regular old flak jacket and I suggested that testing the rifle would not be such a great loss to humanity.
