Is 1 mbps enough to play Xbox live, the Cable phone/internet chick is saying no?Mostly MW2 if it maters.

You will get a lot of lag.

My kids play here with a 3 mbps connection, and it still lags on occasion.

It will work. Lots of things effect lag, so I wouldn't even worry about that.
