I am having trouble with my website.  The pics look great before uploading, and after upload, they look like crap on the web.  They appear really fuzzy.  The web service says that it's due to the pixels or quality of the photos.  But they look great before going up.

Are they blowing smoke up my butt or what?  I never had any issues with any other website I worked on.  I did however change some camera settings.  But, even with those changes, they still look great before uploading.

Any input would be great.

Thanks.

ETA-  If I right-click one of my older clear pics from my website, and re-upload it, it also looks much worse than the original.  They also said every time a JPG is saved, it loses quality.

Have a url for us to look? What service are you using? Their service could be resizing or recompressing the pics which could cause this. They should look identical on your computer and on the web.

Need a URL.

I wonder if you're uploading high resolution photos and using size attributes in the image tag, forcing the browser to resize the image without resampling.

Some pics are too light but still sharp.  I took new pics that are darker but still clear.  The clear ones I uploaded prior to having this issue.

Thanks for helping me.

Yep, you need to resize the pictures to the size you want before you upload them.  The browser is resizing them for you, that's why they don't look right.

So, if I upload and view on website at original size, they should look right?  Correct?

Yep.  Resize them to the size you want them to be on the site, then upload them.
