Anyone with Tinnitus ever try this?

I just saw their ad and am wondering if it works.  I would love to get rid of this damned tinnitus but I don't want to waste money on some "miracle cure" if it doesn't work.

Only relief I have found at night (when its most bothersome) isto run a fan or have a radio on real quiet....then I can get some ZZzzzz's

Would love a cure though..but I think thats out of the picture as the damage has been done a long time ago

I've been using a fan since 1984.

Wasn't that the name of the government sponsored suicide kits in "Children of Men"?

I use my TV timer to get to sleep and generally stay asleep.

However, I hear it all the time, specfically my heartbeat.  It's driving me nuts, or some may say, more nuts.

I run a fan for backgound noise every night and travel with it as well...I don't have tinninitus but I'd never get any sleep without a constant, steady noise to listen to.

I think you're right.

It's also sort of 30's/40's American gangster slang for killing someone. "Mike put the quietus on him."

I'd like to know if there's something out there that will help my tinnitus, but I'm not holding my breath. I know Quietus is out there, so is this stuff called Ringstop. I don't know if either of them will really help.

If it worked, don't you think the doctors would be recomending it?

Tried Quietus.

Does not work.

I hear tree frogs & crickets all the time. Even January, February and March. In PA.

If find I can just ignore it. Most of the time.

Then again, I was a USMC grunt and am on second marriage. I'm pretty good at ignoring shit.

Yes. That was my first thought when I heard the ad. Almost as bad as when Nike tried to name a shoe the Zyklon (Nazi gas)

I've had it so long that I hardly ever notice it anymore.  Damn rock & roll and guns, anyway.  Now, I make sure to use hearing protection when shooting.  Still like my music loud, though.

Also B12 deficiency has been linked to it. Take a good multi-vitamin that is ready absorbed and see if it helps.
