When moving an object from one picture to another how do you get the size equal? For example, I want to put the face of my brother onto the body of someone in a funny pose in a different picture but when I drag it over his head is always out of proportion to the rest of the picture.
Any ideas? |

You have to resize something. Either your brother's picture, or the picture you're putting it into.
A tip on that - making smaller images larger increases pixelation and decreases quality, whereas making larger images smaller has the opposite effect. How I would approach this - as I have many times (many of them, actually being DK chops ) - is to cut out your brother's heat from the original picture (magnetic lasso is great for this) and create another layer out of it on the same picture. Then drag that layer into the picture you want to put it into.
You've probably already figured out that much. Here's the rest. Hold CTRL and press T –– this is the hotkey combo for Transform. It will allow you to freely transform the size and dimensions of the layer you just moved into the pic (your brother's head). Hint: Hold down the Shift key when adjusting via the corner to preserve ratio. This way you wind up with the proper dimensions, just smaller, as opposed to a freakishly long or wide head. Hope that helps. _MaH |
